Outlined below are the speaker biographies for the 2017 ADIA South Australian Dental Show CPD program. The Australian Dental Industry Association (ADIA) is dedicated to producing the best and most convenient way to learn and continue professional growth within the industry. CPD points are allocated at one point per hour and with a plethora of topic discussions, dental professionals will have plenty of opportunities to get the points they need.

Mr Jeremy Stagg
Jeremy Stagg is a financial specialist with over 15 years’ experience, and is the leader of BOQ Specialist’s South Australia team. Jeremy partners with dentists to establish, strengthen and grow their practices, guiding them through every stage of the process. Jeremy has spent most of his career dedicated to finance within the medical and dental fraternity as a specialist in residential lending and structuring debt. His efficient and knowledgeable approach has led Jeremy to establish a foothold in the industry, finding solutions for a diversity of professionals throughout Adelaide and the surrounding areas.
Ms Danielle Gibbens
Danielle has been a private practicing hygienist in both general and specialist practices for almost ten years. She has been a volunteer for the DHAA for eight years in many district roles including State President, National Director (TAS) and social media.
Mr Davide Rinaldi
Davide Rinaldi has worked tirelessly since 2004 to establish one of Adelaide’s premier providers of comprehensive IT services to the South Australian dental market. He is best known (through his company Data Vision Australia) for the provision of practice management software and complete IT solutions. Following completion of his Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer & Information Science, Davide successfully ran IT company Innovative IT. He has also previously worked as a business and information analyst within Government and private industry and is a past State President of the ADIA (Australian Dental Industry Association). With expertise in both OASIS and EXACT Practice Management Software, he provides consultancy services to maximise efficiencies and cost savings from the use of dental software. A long track record in providing exceptional IT advice and service ensures he understands that information technology is supposed to work for you.
Mr Jim Ruddy
Jim has over thirty years' experience in the field of dental ceramics both lecturing and teaching across Australia, New Zealand and Europe.
Jim has worked in many parts of the world such as Germany, Switzerland and the Middle East and was an international trainer for two years based out of Germany. As part of Jim's ongoing professional development, he is certified every six months through the Ivoclar Vivadent "Train the Trainer" (TTT) program in Schaan, Liechtenstein.
Jim works closely with ceramists and consults with some of Australia's leading practitioners regarding materials and techniques.
Dr Benjamin Sellick
B.Lab.Med(Adel), B.Dent(Hons)(Syd), D.Clin.Dent.(Pros)(Adel)
Ben completed his undergraduate dental training with honours in Sydney, moving back to Adelaide to commence private practice. He subsequently completed a Prosthodontics residency at The University of Adelaide in 2014, graduating with a Doctorate in Clinical Dentistry. He has lectured both domestically and abroad, is a member of various professional bodies and currently serves at State and Federal levels for the Australian Prosthodontic Society. Recently nominated as a Key Opinion Leader (KOL) at industry level, he also consults as a product evaluator for many dental companies. Ben currently maintains a specialist prosthodontic practice in Adelaide and tutor’s dental undergraduates enrolled at The University of Adelaide. Ben has a interest in the digital aspects of prosthodontics and their applications to complex aesthetic rehabilitation and implant dentistry.
Mr Christopher Jobson
Chris Jobson has worked exclusively within the Australian dental industry for nearly thirty years, both in consumable and equipment sales and for the past ten years with the handpiece manufacturer, W&H.
W&H’s experience in sterilization is well-known as is their on-going commitment to infection control education.
Chris has gathered practical knowledge and experience through his activities and contacts with dental professionals and experts in the field of infection control, with knowledge on the processing of transmission instruments.
W&H is a member of the Australian Dental Industry Association, and Chris is one of two ADIA members to sit on the HE-023 committee for the update of Australian Standards – most recently AS 4187:2014.
Chris offers a manufacturer’s perspective on the topic of hygiene protocol and sterilization of transmission instruments.
Mr Greg Miller
Greg Miller is a private dental practitioner in Adelaide and is currently President of the South Australian Branch of the Australian Dental Association. He has also completed the Graduate Diploma of Dental Sleep Medicine with many years of experience providing oral appliances.
